IN THE PROCESS
“
I started my Project with the idea to create something light, beautiful and dreamy.
I came up with creating interactive helium balloons.
The first step of my project was to build up a board connected to an arduino,so every student has the possibility to connect this to their own final project. This work wasn't easy, and I needed a calm hand for connecting all the wires.
I only choose things I absolutely love.
If I can't find what I want,
I wait and work
to find exactly
what is needed.
After connecting all the wires and LED's to the board my project was ready for the next step. I started to program my arduino with a motion webcam. My plan is for someone to pass by the balloons, and for them to light up. Finally, I connected the code to my board and the LED's.
To finish my project, I need to fit the LED's to the balloons, and gave it a good look and feel.

BIO

My name is Charlotte Wedekind (20 years old) and I'm coming from Germany. I'm going to the Saxion University in Eschede (NL) and study Art&Technology. I like to be creative, to design new things, and to travel a lot. As a student I want to make a high technical interactive iserlation with helium balloons and LED's inside them.
With the interacting part, I can see the users having fun. This is my main point of why I am doing this. I want to put a smile on their faces, and to let them feel free inside of their heart. Emotions are important - to not just think about art, but you should feel it because not everything has to be static.
